We are a grass roots organization consisting of individuals who have a dream to bring the sport of lawn bowling to the City of Folsom and to the greater Sacramento area for all to enjoy. We not only have a passion for the sport but we also have a passion to improve the lives of our neighbors and the look of our neighborhoods. We believe that building a beautiful, serene open space where the community can gather, meet new people and play a game that promotes health and wellness of the residents and community in general is a worthwhile endeavor. It is commitment that benefits everyone for generations to come.

The building of a lawn bowling facility especially one that can host regional and national competitions will benefit our City and bring in much needed tourism dollars. Our local hotels and businesses will benefit as we welcome guests and visitors from our surrounding clubs and from around the nation. 

Many of the existing lawn bowling greens in the State of California were built in the 40’s and 50’s and some are even older. We have the support of the Pacific InterMountain Division (PIMD) which is the Regional organization to which the Folsom Lawn Bowling Club will belong to. We also have the support of Bowls, USA which is the National organization of lawn bowling in the United States. We are currently working closely with them to make this vision a reality.
